El jugador de póker Brandon Cantu quiere brillar en Europa, y es que su cuenta pendiente está en los torneos que se juega en el antiguo continente. Cantu tiene fijación en el EPT que se disputa en Portugal, el EPT de Vilamoura, en el cual lidera la clasificación en el tercer día del torneo.

Cantu quiere tener en su palmarés un gran torneo en Europa, y es que hasta el momento tiene dos eventos de las WSOP. Su característica principal es que sabe jugar las fichas cuando están en su poder, por eso los expertos dicen que el EPT de Vilamoura no se le va a escapar este año.

En este torneo todavían quedan tres españoles de los 70 jugadores que hay, que son  Guillermo García ocupa el puesto 16 con 238.100 fichas, muy lejos del líder Cantu que dispone de un total de  557.400 fichas. Los otros dos españoles son Joaquín Culebras y Óscar García-Pelayo se mantienen muy abajo con unos ‘ahorros’ escasos que le ponen complicado salvar el día 3
